Guinea’s Coach Paul Put welcome Super Eagles challenge

Guinea’s Belgian coach Paul Put says the Super Eagles is a great team and he’s delighted that his side would test themselves against one of the tournament favourites.

Put was the man in charge of Burkina Faso team that lost the final of the 2013 edition to the Super Eagles and his Guinean team was drawn in Group B of this year’s edition alongside the Super Eagles, Madagascar and Burundi.

”We will have to work well and respect all the teams that make up our group. Nigeria is a great team but it’s good for us too,”
”I am perhaps happy with this draw, but it is not an easy draw I admit, we must be very careful, but we will do everything to move to the second round.”

Guinea will be banking on the duo of Liverpool’s Naby Keïta and Napoli’s Amadou Diawara for the clash against Nigeria at the Alexandria Stadium, Alexandria on June 26.
