Green Lock FC Extends Full Support To NFF’s Grassroots Football Development Initiatives

Abuja-based football club, Green Lock FC, has pledged unwavering support for the grassroots football development programs spearheaded by the current Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) administration led by Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau.

The club’s management conveyed this commitment during a courtesy visit to the NFF President’s office in Abuja, Sports247 reports.

In response, Gusau expressed gratitude for the endorsement, emphasizing the NFF’s commitment to an open-door policy for competent individuals contributing to football administration, particularly focusing on grassroots developmentā€”a central pillar in the current administration’s strategy to elevate Nigerian football to new heights.

Gusau offered words of encouragement to Green Lock FC, acknowledging the challenges inherent in initiating new projects but urging perseverance and a steadfast pursuit of their vision for football development.

He emphasized the importance of overcoming obstacles on the path to achieving their goals.

The Executive Vice Chairman of Green Lock FC, Mr. Olufunsho Peters, expressed admiration for the achievements under Gusau’s administration and affirmed the club’s dedication to aligning with the vision for grassroots football development.

Peters commended the positive direction in which Nigerian football is heading under Gusau’s leadership.

Chief Coordinating Executive of Green Lock FC, Mr. Olayinka Oladunjoye, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the club’s genuine desire to be part of the NFF’s transformative vision for Nigerian football.

Oladunjoye emphasized that the visit was more than a mere formality, emphasizing the club’s sincere commitment to contributing to and benefiting from the positive changes in the country’s football landscape.

The visit also featured the presence of key figures, including NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi; NFF Director of Communications, Ademola Olajire, and special assistant to NFF President, Abubakar Barde.
