A Lagos-based youth football coach, promoter, manager and organiser of grassroots competitions, Ali Ojelowo has disclosed that he has a burning ambition to become a member in the management committee of Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
Ojelowo, who also played football at the grassroots in Lagos and Owerri, during which period he twice attended screening at the under-17 national team, Golden Eaglets’ camp, explained in a chat with Sports247 that he wants to contribute a new focus in the NPFL.

Ojelowo, who also spent some time in the camps of FC Ebedie in Sagamu and Emmanuel Amuneke Football Academy in Ikorodu, then came close to sealing a deal in United Arab Emirates, disclosed various contributions he has put into football that qualify him to be in the NPFL.
He expatiated, “I am now based at Agboju in Amuwo-Odofin area of Lagos. I combine football coaching with my role as owner and manager of Bruedent Football Club.
“I have also organised four editions of Agboju under-17 tournament, as well as three editions of Bruedent Super-4 and Kennedy Henshaw under-17 competition at Agboju.
“I was also the organiser of Honourable Atiku Liman football tournament at Gande, in Silame Local Government of Sokoto State, and I now want to be part of Nigeria Premier League’s organising committee.”
Aside from joining the NPFL’s board, the lanky former striker, who is fondly called Alibanti, stated further that he also wants to take his passion for youth football development to a higher level, but noted that he needs corporate sponsorship to make it happen.
“I want to continue and expand my passion for youth development and talent discovery at the grassroots level. I also want to acquire football club sponsorship. I’m not looking for the support of any individual, but it’s corporate sponsorship that I want to get,” Ojelowo affirmed
