Governor Makinde Appoints Olamide Ilupeju As Crown FC Boss

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde has endorsed the appointment of a renowned football agent, Mr Olamide Ilupeju as the Acting General Manager of Crown FC.

The contractual appointment was contained in a letter dated 23rd October, 2023 and signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development in the state, Miss Wasilat Adegoke on Tuesday in her office charging the new Ajilete helmsman to diligently carry out his duties to actualize the objectives of Omituntun 2.0 sustainable agenda of the Oyo State Government for the club.

According to the letter of engagement: “Following your application as General Manager of Crown Football Club of Ogbomosho and the subsequent interview in this office, I am directed to inform you that the Management of the club and the Ministry have agreed to offer you 6 months probationary contract appointment as the Club Manager of the club with effect from October 25th, 2023”.

It would be recalled that the former Manager of Ajilete Warriors, Kunkle Oyeleye parted ways with the Club on Monday, 23rd October, 2023 on mutual consent
