Competing in the 65kg women’s final, Moghenbofa defeated Cara Duplessis in commanding fashion, sealing the bout with an 8–2 score and a pinfall victory to clinch the top prize.

> “I told myself nothing was stopping me today. I’m proud to stand on top of the podium for Nigeria,” Moghenbofa said after her powerful performance.

Her victory follows gold medal wins by Khadijat Idris (55kg), Mercy Genesis (50kg), and Jumoke Adekoye (59kg) — making it four wins from four final appearances so far this evening.

Nigeria still has three more finalists aiming to join the growing list of champions tonight:

Ebi Biogos (72kg, Women)

Stephen Izolo (65kg, Men)

Ebikeme Newlife (92kg, Men)

With confidence running high and the momentum clearly in Nigeria’s favor, the nation is on the brink of an unforgettable night in African wrestling history.
