A gender empowerment project that focuses on young females, Goals For Girls has announced February 24th and 25th for its 2026 summit, Sports247 reports.

The announcement was made by the convener and former football star, Chinasa Mandy Ukandu, who disclosed that it will be a two-day football leadership gathering involving 300 girls from various junior secondary schools in Lagos.
Ukandu added that the summit will be staged under the project’s Goals 4 Girls Naija programme, with various activities, lectures, talk shows, games and events set to enlighten the students on both days.
She further disclosed in a press statement, “Over the past year, the Goals For Girls Project has partnered with public secondary schools across Lagos State to deliver leadership development, empowerment and life-skills programmes for young girls, using football as a tool.
“To culminate this year-long engagement and celebrate the growth and achievements of the
participants, we are organizing the G4G Naija Summit 2026.
“The summit will host 150 students per day, bringing together a total of 300 students, in addition to accompanying teachers from the participating schools.
“Activities planned for the summit include leadership development workshops, team-building sessions, football games and friendly tournaments; all carefully designed to reinforce the skills and values taught throughout the year.”
