The Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club ANFASSC has charged the newly appointed Minister in charge of Youth and Sports, Senator John Enoh to give priority attention to other sports during his reign as custodian.
The President of ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi in a congratulatory message said priority attention on other sports will in no small measure put Nigeria on the map for being a giant in different events.
The ANFASSC Supremo though admits that football takes the larger share, but appealed to the Sports Minister to change the game in that regard.
Prince Ogunjimi said “On behalf of everyone at ANFASSC, I congratulate the Hon. Sports Minister, it’s our prayer that the country gets it right in the sector under his watch”
“We are however appealing to the Minister to change the game and not just focus on football. We all love the round leather game, but it’s also pertinent to develop other sports”.
He charged stakeholders to give the new Sports Minister the necessary support he needs to succeed.
