Gidado launches amazing website, signs partnership deal with German giants

Gidado Football Academy have registered their names in the history books by becoming the first private soccer side in Kwara state to launch their official website.

Going by the name Gidadofanigeria.com, the website is designed for people around the world to see and updated themselves about the latest development at the Ilorin based club.

Saddled with the responsibilities of discovering youngsters and giving them the ground to exhibit their talents, Gidado Football Academy is being owned by a renowned business mogul Alhaji Soliu Afase.

The 53-year-old in his efforts to make Gidado one of the finest academy sides in Nigeria also secured a three-year partnership deal with German giants Jugend Fussball Leistungzentrum who will be monitoring the progress of all the players at the academy.

The agreement signed with the German Football Academy will also give players of Gidado the chance to go for trials in Europe with the aim of getting at least 2 years’ contract at any professional side.

Action will, however, commence immediately the Nigerian government gives a directive for football to return where Gidado players and officials will resume their normal activities.

Gidado was created in the year 2016, and the academy was duly registered with the corporate affairs commission and also affiliated itself with Kwara State Football Association for proper guidance.

Three years after its creation, Gidado made Kwara state proud by qualifying for the National League which is the second tie of Nigerian football.
