Getafe president Ángel Torres confirmed that the Spanish club would be open to welcoming the Nigerian midfielder back should his stay in England come to an end this summer.
Uche joined Crystal Palace on loan with an option for a permanent transfer reportedly worth €20 million, but the clause is unlikely to be activated.
The agreement required the midfielder to start at least 10 league matches, a condition he has not met during his time with the London club.
As a result, Crystal Palace are expected to allow the loan deal to expire without triggering the purchase option.
Speaking about the player’s situation, Torres acknowledged that there is interest in the midfielder from other leagues but insisted that Getafe would gladly reintegrate him into the squad if he returns.
“He has offers from other countries… but if he returns, we’d be delighted,” Torres said.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his immediate future, Uche remains tied to Getafe on a long-term contract. The Nigerian still has three years remaining on his deal with the La Liga side, giving the club significant control over the next stage of his career.
Before moving to Crystal Palace, Uche had been regarded as a promising midfield option for Getafe, known for his energy, ball-winning ability, and tactical discipline.
However, limited opportunities in England prevented him from establishing himself in the Palace starting lineup.
With the season approaching its conclusion, the coming months will be crucial in determining whether Uche returns to Spain, secures another move abroad, or fights for a fresh opportunity with Getafe.
For the Nigerian midfielder, the priority will be finding consistent playing time as he looks to revive his momentum and continue his development at the highest level of European football.
