The victory marked a significant turning point for the team, which had faced criticism for its earlier performances in the season.

Before the appointment of the new manager, Kennedy Boboye, Jenom, a former Gendre Marie FC talisman, had been sidelined for nine weeks, featuring only as a substitute in a previous match against Plateau United.

His return to the starting lineup against Bendel Insurance showcased his resilience and determination.

He emphasized the need for discipline, focus, and hard work as essential elements to propel the team up the table.

“Though we’ve been unlucky in some of the matches played, I believe that we’ll move up soon.
