Unsurprisingly, the visitors dominated their hosts in all aspects of play and were positive of gaining at least a one-goal advantage early enough in the game.

Somehow inexplicably, Mighty Jets would find themselves 1-0 down in the 17th minute after David Agba converted his chance; one of the few his team created against the run of play.

Determined to get back into the game, Najib Mabo’s charges sustained their intensity and got a well-deserved reward through Usman Meyanga’s 33rd minute equalizer.

From then onwards, it was clear that the visitors were a hard nut for the Desert Warriors to crack, as they launched attack after attack in their effort to go ahead in terms of goal advantage.

Before the end of the first 45 minutes, Ajini Ahmad will receive his marching orders under very mysterious circumstances to all but constitute a major cog in the wheel of the visitors’ in-game progress.

That singular decision by the referee ensured that Mighty Jets International FC were forced to defend deep with the hopes of getting a point, but a deflected effort saw Mighty Jets’ defense collapse under pressure to leave the scoreline at 2-1 in favour of the hosts.
