The first edition is currently on going with the finals set to be begin on 22nd October as the draws, comprising 12 teams have already been conducted.

There were uproars by concerned stakeholders on the snub of private schools in the FCT which has now been considered.

Speaking in a press conference today, Thursday, in Abuja Pastor Yakubu Yola, Chairman FWC Champions FC said there are plans to incorporate private schools in subsequent editions but stressed that “it is still unknown when they will come in” but we have plans for that”

He added that “Time factor was a major reason why we left out private schools. We observed that public schools have a more organized body which helped us with the organization.
