Fusion Football Championship: ‘It’s a great achievement’ – Broad City’s Boluwatife Adams says after scoring first goals

Broad City FC defender Boluwatife Adams has expressed his great delight after scoring his first two goals at the 2021 Fusion Football Championship.

Boluwatife come of the bench to grab a brace in Broad City’s 3-0 win over Danjuma Babes FC in the MD 4 of the league campaign on Saturday.

“It’s a proud achievement,” Boluwatife said on his two-goal heroics. “I mean it’s my first couple of goals and I’ve not scored in the league and to score my first two goals is a great achievement for me personally.

“The coach asked me to focus on the game and see where the opponents were lacking. When he saw that the right hand side of the opponents was week he told me that I was going to go in on the left hand and I should try and create as much as possible.”

The Golden Eaglets star is intent on reaching the top of the game. He said:

“My targets are very high. I wouldn’t say my targets is only to be with the U17 or U20 or national team. I want the best for myself which is to reach the greatest heights I can reach in my career. If God says U20 or the national team why not?”
