Fusion Championship: Organisers Read Riot Act To club Owners Over Non Submission of Registration Forms

Chairman of the Fusion League Championship, Alhaji Abiodun Salau has read a riot act to all the participating clubs to complete their registration forms and paper documentation before Monday or they should forget playing the league this season.

Salau told sports 247.ng that no club has completed their registration forms which really delayed the commencement of the fusion championship league.

Salau who is worried over lackadaisical attitude of some club owners towards the league assured the fans of commencing the league this month in Lagos.

“I finished meeting with the club owners on Tuesday and we had resolved that any club fails to complete their registration forms before Monday would be disqualified from the league,”he said.

Salau said he is not happy the way some club owners handle their team’s registration forms and insisted that the planning committee would fix a date for the kick off as from next week.

“We are seriously planning to start the league this month but the club owners must do the needful before Monday.A lot of football fans are calling me and want to know when the league would start but I cannot give them specific date until the club owners submit their registration forms and other paper documentation by Monday,”he said.

Among the clubs expected for the league are Smart City,G12, North York,Sportine, Golden Heritage, Team 360,GSC, Divine Praise and Chekas United.
