The management of Fusion Football Championship decides to kickoff the Fusion Football Championship 3.0 by end of September 2022.
This was decided in a meeting between the Management of the league and The participating teams of the Third season.
The Championship will be having a total number of 20 teams to battle for this season trophy.
After proper consultation with the participating teams representatives in the meeting , its agreed that this season league should be played in an abridge format of 10teams in each group while the league Champion will be decided in a super 8 after the regular season.
The Chairman of the League employ all new intake of the league to formalize all there documentation with the Lagos State FA to avoid any delay in kickoff the league.
The Chairman Of Fusion Football Championship buttress more on the reason for the delay to kickoff as a result of putting all necessary things in place to have a smooth running league this season.
He also speak on the viewership of 20million fans from all social media and terrestrial Televisions that fusion football championship has attracted over the years and been one of the best grassroot sport organization in the world listed by Fantaxtik’s Global Business Rating (FGBR) as reported by Cheeronnigeria.blogspot.com.
Engr Molly Archibong , a member of the League committee also urge all teams to do everything possible in ensuring prompt payment to avoid Delays in Jersey Production by KK (King Kanu ) Sportswear .
He also urge participating teams to help control there fans considering the Top brands the championship are attracting this season . He also emphasize that the league have put in proper security but the teams management need to talk to there darling fans.
Alh Salau Abiodun lay more emphasis on the reason keeping the standard of the league high as it is the selling points attracting more brand to the league as this season will have more wider coverage. The players and match analysis will be taking by a Skyscout digital Statistics company which will enable foreign scouts and agents to have information about the participating clubs and players.
The Chairman Pronounce for Winner of the League 1million Naira while First and Second Runners up will get 500,000 naira and 250,000 naira respectively plus other awards and incentives for players and teams.
The Fusion Championship will be played at the legacy pitch National stadium and Agege Stadium as soon as it’s reopened.
In the Closing remark , Alh Salau Abiodun thank the Lagos state football Association Led by Nigeria Football Federation 1st Vice President Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi for his unending support towards the league over the years and wish him success in the forth coming NFF presidential election
