Nigerian forward Olanrewaju “Larry” Kayode delivered a standout display, contributing two goals and one assist in a match where Erokspor’s attacking quality proved too much for the visitors.
The home side broke the deadlock in the 28th minute through Amilton, who finished off a well-worked team move to make it 1–0.
Erokspor continued to push forward, and their pressure paid off again just before halftime when Kayode set up B. Çoban, whose deflected strike in the 43rd minute doubled the advantage.
Despite Sakaryaspor’s attempts to regain control, Erokspor went into the break fully in charge.
The second half belonged to Kayode. The Nigerian striker made it 3–1 in the 53rd minute with a composed finish, showcasing his sharpness inside the box.
He struck again in the 79th minute, timing his run perfectly before firing home to complete his brace and effectively seal the victory.
Sakaryaspor managed a consolation through H. Čataković deep into stoppage time (90+6’), but it did little to change the narrative of Erokspor’s dominance.
This result not only strengthens Erokspor’s position in the league but also highlights Kayode’s growing influence in the squad.
With two goals and an assist, he was undeniably the star of the afternoon, driving his team to a well-deserved win in front of their home supporters.
