Froltish Football Academy of Ijeshatedo, Lagos has picked December 13th as the date for its end of year party and annual get-together of players and officials from home and abroad, Sports247 reports.
This announcement was made by the academy’s president, Friday Ebeye, who happened to be a former member of the original club that was founded years ago by a grassroots coach, Athan Umoette, and recently expanded into a well-organised academy.

Ebeye hinted in a chat with Sports247 that the upcoming event would be another opportunity for mentors and their products to meet one another after several years apart, while also providing motivational lectures for the team’s present day kids.
The former battling midfielder (aka Ijapa), who is based in Italy and recently acquired citizenship of the European country, said he is happy with the opportunity of making youngsters happy in the community where he grew up and he played on the arena known as Olympic Field.
He urged all the players, their parents, friends and well-wishers to mark the date on their calendars in order to turn up in large numbers at the party’s venue, which will be the events hall of Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) complex near Ijesha Express Bus Stop at Amuwo-Odofin Industrial Estate, Lagos.
Ebeye stated, “We are excited to invite all our guests, players, parents, supporters and well-wishers of Froltish Football Academy to our annual end-of-year get-together.
“Join us, as we celebrate the achievements of our players and coaxhes, as well as the dedication of our entire community throughout this outgoing year.”
Sports247 gathered further that Froltish FA – which has squads for under-10, under-13, under-15, -under-17 and senior boys – is an affiliate of Fritish Sports International, for which Coach Athan is also the sporting director.
