Newly signed Head Coach of Buruj Sports Academy, Friday Ekpo is set for his first game as his team meet with Cottage FC in their 1st League Match at Gbagada Training Ground.
The Academy’s first League match in the Ikorodu Divisional League as organized by the Ikorodu Divisional Football Association (IDFA) will kick-off on Thursday 16th January by 3pm.
The team having a unified club’s football operation giving greater responsibility to players and installing an unmistakable on-pitch identity and an all-round culture of excellence.
Buruj Sports Academy Coaching crew led by Friday Ekpo encourage the players and said: “You have to give your all and that’s what we do. But there’s still more to come. That’s what we have to ask ourselves for, and that’s what we do.
“Its time we fight hard, that’s what we expect from you and what you expect from yourselves.
“I don’t think we needed a lot of luck, but without any luck you cannot have the numbers we have.
The CEO Dr Salaudeen Waheed Buruj also advise the players to stick to their pattern, play their normal game and not to be carried away by the opponent sizes.
Buruj Boys taken a turn to keep under control their busy schedule for the year, still ahead is the yearly international Football Tournaments slated to hold in Holland, Spain and England respectively.
