Francis Uzoho Rates His Europa League Performance Against Manchester As Best In His Career

Manchester United defeated Omonoia Nicosia 1-0 courtesy of a late added-time goal by McTominay to give the Red Devils 3points in the Europa League with two grow-up games to go.

Nigerian Goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho put up a stellar performance, making 12 saves in the game before being beaten late to earn the Man of the match award Uzoho who is a big Manchester United fan expressed his joy over his performance.

“I am not disappointed because we had a great game and we would have preferred to get at least a point but I’m happy as it’s not an easy stadium to play in with such big players,” Uzoho said.

“It’s a dream come true for me. I have dreamt of playing here for a long long time, so when I saw the draws and figured that we would be playing in Old Trafford, I prayed for an opportunity to play and I got it and I’m happy I played here,” he added.

Asked if that was the best game of his career, Uzoho said, “arguably, yes I think so”.

“I’m proud of my teammates most especially because it wasn’t a one-man show, we gave everything out there on the field and I’m happy with my performance,” he concluded in his post-match reaction.
