A former invitee to Nigeria’s under-17 national team, Golden Eaglets, Vitalis Chukwu has disclosed that he has a burning ambition to quickly join the coaching crew of any league club in the country, Sports247 reports.
Vitalis, a lanky fair-skinned tactician, touted himself good enough as an assistant coach or physical trainer for any team that plays in the third-cadre Nationwide League One (NLO) or second-tier Nigerian National League (NNL).

The product of the once vastly popular Pepsi Football Academy is currently a coach with an affiliate college of the institution founded by late veteran technical director Kashimawo Laloko, where he has forged a strong technical base for the management, crew and students.
However, having served both institutions loyally for several years as a player and coach, Vitalis believes he now has to aim higher, especially as he holds a C-license coaching certificate issued by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
He told Sports247 that he is now ready to make use of his CAF C licence, which was signed by the continental body’s former president, Issa Hayatou, and secretary-general, Hicham El Amrani on May 28, 2017.
Furthermore, the indigene of Enugu State, who was born on October 12, 1990, also has a certificate from Berackiah/Abigol Football Coaching Clinic (January-February 2021), which was signed by highly respected former Super Eagles’ coach and FIFA instructor, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde.
Other credentials Vitalis has to prove his acumen as a coach include his role as a national assignment assessor at Daimler Chrysler Junior Cup 2000 in Germany as well as a certificate for technical instructors issued by MAATSports of Finland.
“I believe that my experience as a player and all the certificates that I have from my roles in football make me good enough to get a job with any NLO or NNL club in Nigeria,” said the former prolific striker.
