Adeboye, who has also worked with Dreamland Football Academy of Oba in Anambra State as well as Young Stars of Lagos and JMD of Kano, added that the experience he gained from all his previous duty posts will help him achieve his ambitions.
He then recounted how playing for several clubs at youth, national league and international levels also provided a vibrant foundation for his advent into full-time coaching.
Among the squads he featured for as a young first choice shotstopper during his early days in Lagos were Festico FC of FESTAC Town, National Grassroots Dream Team of Surulere and Soccer Warriors of Orile-Iganmu; after which he played league football with Bridge Boys, Julius Berger and Union Bank football clubs.
After moving out of Lagos, Adeboye also enjoyed league football with FC Ebedie of Sagamu, Calabar Rovers of Cross River State, Dolphins of Port Harcourt, Rangers of Enugu and Semasi FC of Togo.
He has now brought to bear on his current job the vast experience he gained from playing and coaching in several different geographical zones, which he believes will now help him achieve his ambitions at Ahzuba FC.
“I want to develop young talents for Nigeria and the world at large. I also want to take this team to a major tournament and win something big for them,” said the former protégé of ex-international winger, Emmanuel Amuneke.
