The occasion last was highlighted by two novelty football matches at Rishama College, where All Stars of Akwanga hold their training sessions.

The first game had Akwanga All Stars go against members of Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Nasarawa State chapter, and ended in a 1-1 draw, while the second had Friends of Danmusa in a 0-0 draw with Akwanga All Stars.

They all paid glowing tributes to the retired director, whose lifestyle has positively impacted many people and societies, particularly in Nasarawa State.

After both matches, the leadership of Akwanga All Stars, headed by their chairman, Eche Amos, unveiled Danmusa as a patron of the club, with a revelation that he has proven beyond doubt that his wisdom will help to propel the club to achieve their goals.

Former team manager of Nasarawa United and present district head of Akwanga, His Highness, Anthony Yamusa, who is also a member of Akwanga All Stars, presented the plaque of patronship to the former director, and described it as a deserved honour.
