Foreign Clubs in Hot Chase of Garden City Panthers FC Technical Team

Teams that compete in the Champions League – CAF, have been drawn to the admirable work carried out by Portuguese coaches Manuel Matias and Pedro Taborda at Garden City Panthers FC in Abuja as foreign clubs ask for technical staff of the team.

The Portuguese technical team who is still in Portugal due to the Covid-19 pandemic has drawn clubs from South Africa, Algeria and Burkina Faso as they pursue the transfer of Portuguese coaches to their clubs although they are expected in Nigeria as soon as international flights resume their regularity.

Assistant coach Pedro Taborda, who confirmed the approach of some clubs, said that the technical team has a contract with Garden City Panthers FC until 31 December, and that the priority is to continue in Nigeria.

Taborda also posited that any contact of possible interested clubs will have to be made directly with the president of Garden City Panthers FC, Mr. Robinson Adakosa, affirming also that in football everything is possible, renew contract for one more or two seasons, transfer to another country, or even transfer to an NPFL club, is something that can happen in the future.
