Kwara State has shaken the foundation of Nigerian football.In an unprecedented weekend, Kwara United lifted the 2025 President Federation Cup, while their U-19 squad clinched the inaugural National Youth League title.

For the first time in its history, Kwara United became national champions.
They beat Abakaliki City FC on penalties at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, after a 0–0 draw in regulation time.

On Monday, June 30, Ilorin will roar.
A victory parade begins at 12:30 PM from Eyenkorin and snakes through the Ilorin metropolis to the Banquet Hall, Government House.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq will host the champions.
He calls it a “historic achievement” and says it reflects “deliberate investment in youth and sports.”
Kwara has now qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup.
From local ambition to continental challenge — the Harmony Boys are no longer underdogs.
