Flying Eagles U 20 WAFU Cup first match will not hold after Benin pull out

The Flying Eagles will not be action tomorrow in the U20 WAFU Cup in Togo after their opponents Benin Republic pulled out of the sub-regional tournament.

 

 

As Benin Republic still battling with the age scandal that rocked them at the recent U17 AFCON qualifiers in Niger that saw them lose a whole team of players.

 

On account of this withdrawal, the only Group B match today will see U20 AFCON hosts Niger up against Ghana.

The Flying Eagles first game will now be on Sunday against Niger.

The tournament kicked off today in Lome with hosts Togo up against Mali and Burkina Faso tackling Senegal.
