Rivers United technical manager Finidi George has expressed optimism ahead of his side’s CAF Champions League encounter against Dynamos FC of Zambia, describing the fixture as an open and competitive contest.
Speaking in the build-up to the match, Finidi noted that both teams head into the tie eager to bounce back after recent setbacks, a factor he believes will shape the nature of the game.

“It will be an interesting game. They have lost, we have lost as well, so we expect both teams to try and win,” Finidi said. “Even though it is an away game for us, we have nothing to lose.”

“We must approach it positively if we want something from this tournament. We are looking forward to an open game and a good match on Saturday,” he added.
