The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the dates and venue for the playoff tournament that will determine the final African representative for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to the schedule released by CAF, the semi-final matches of the playoff will take place on 13th November 2025, while the final is slated for 16th November 2025.

The mini-tournament will be hosted in Morocco, one of Africa’s top footballing nations, renowned for its modern stadiums and well-organised sporting infrastructure.

The format will see two semi-final clashes, with the winners meeting in the decisive final to determine who joins the already-qualified nine African nations.
