Tunisia extended their dominance in Group H of the FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers with a convincing 3-0 win over Liberia on Thursday.
The Carthage Eagles remain firmly in control of the group, sitting on 19 points with three matches left to play.

Hazem Mastouri opened the scoring in the 5th minute before Ferjani Sassi doubled the lead midway through the second half.
Elias Saad sealed the victory in stoppage time, ensuring Tunisia strengthen their lead at the top.
Equatorial Guinea, meanwhile, delivered one of the most remarkable comebacks of the qualifiers.

They overturned two-goal first half goals deficit to defeat São Tomé and Príncipe 3-2.
The hosts had raced into a commanding lead in the first half.
Lumungo struck from the penalty spot in the 8th minute and doubled his tally with another spot kick in the 42nd minute.
Reis Tavares Semedo had also found the net in the 37th minute, giving São Tomé a 2-0 cushion at the break.
But Equatorial Guinea responded brilliantly after halftime.
Pablo Ganet pulled one back with a precise finish in the 53rd minute. Iban Salvador equalised nine minutes later before Nabil completed the turnaround in the 70th minute with a clinical strike after a sweeping move.
The win lifted Equatorial Guinea to 10 points, level with Liberia, though they remain fourth on goal difference.
Liberia’s loss to Tunisia means they stay third.
Namibia, currently second on 12 points, will host Malawi later on Friday.
A victory would cut Tunisia’s lead at the top to four points otherwise Tunisia might wrap up qualification before the final day
Malawi, however, will be desperate to secure their first point of the qualifying campaign.
