The Football Intermediaries Association of Nigeria (FIAN), commiserates with the Family, Management of Remo Stars FC. and Football Fraternity over death of *Tiamiyu Kazeem;* a one too many bright rising Nigerian Football star gorily cut shot in his prime by criminal orchestration of SARS officers as reported.

We join the sports community and entire country to protest trending trademark application of excessive force in line of duty, and complicity of SARS in this and other avoidable shedding of innocent blood of our footballers and youths.

The relevant authorities are hereby re-urged to conduct a sincere and transparent investigation into this paradoxical trend and weed out all the bad eggs in SARS that are turning their guns and training against same citizens they took oat to protect and by whose tax payers’ Naira their salaries are being paid; with a view of finding a permanent solution to this rampant abuse of power, violation of rules of engagement and citizen’s right to life and dignity; and *fullest prosecution of the officers involved.*

May the soul of the departed rest in peace, as we keep eternal vigilance and sustain civil pressure on the hierarchy of SARS and our security units at large to urgently weed out all the bad eggs within, and professional carry out their duties.

We endorse the Abuja civil rally called by the National Association of Nigerian Professional Footballers.
