Femi Adetula voted Nigeria Olympics Committee PRO, shock defeat for incubent Sec Gen.

Respected sports Journalist Femi Adetula has been elected as the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Olympic Committee at an elective congress that took place at the Government house in Yola Adamawa State replacing Tony Ubani who held the position for eight years sports247.ng reports.

 

 

The Super Sports senior producer defeated former News Agency of Nigeria boss and a onetime NOC PRO Tony Nezianya, Olu Amadasun, Dapo Sotuminu and Patric Ibeh to take the seat for the next four years.

 

 

There was a shock result as incumbent secretary General Tunde Popoola was unseated by Banji Oladapo taking a total of 22 votes to Popoola’s 12. Meanwhile President of the NOC Habu Gumel was returned unopposed.
