FCT FA Partners With Fieldoo Football Challenge

The Federal Capital Territory Football Association, FCT FA, has partnered with Fieldoo Football Challenge for development of the game in Nigeria and Abuja in particular.

Two prominent coaches in Nigeria, Coach John Obuh and Abimbola Samuel who are representatives of the scouting program in Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to FCT Football Association Chairman, Mouktar Mohammed in his office at Old Parade Ground, to intimate the Association on partnership with Fieldoo Football Challenge,

Receiving the two former national teams coaches, the FCT FA supremo showered encomium on them for their efforts in providing platform for Nigerian young talented footballers who will be discovered and nurtured for better future. He added that the Association will give 100% support because football development at the grassroots is the primary objective of the FA.

“I am happy to see this come up in Nigeria and want to assure you that the Association will support the scouting program.

“In FCT FA, our focus is to develop the game in the grassroots, provide platforms for young talented Nigeria footballers to excel in their chosen careers. This program, of course is for better development of football in FCT, I give the Fieldoo program 100% support.” Mouktar said.

Fieldoo, a Switzerland based football talent scouting company, will storm Abuja in November to carry out a week scouting program in search of talented young Nigerian footballers who are ready to excel in Europe.

Over ten coaches from various reputable clubs in Europe will join FIELDOO in Abuja from November 5-11 for this massive project.

A total of 1000 talented players to be selected across various football academies will converge in Abuja for this challenge where the exceptional ones will be picked.

With venue at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, FIELDOO CHALLENGE NIGERIA is set to revolutionalise football scouting program in Nigeria with various incentives for football academies/players who will participate in the program.

With success stories recorded in South Africa in November last year when Fieldoo Challenge South Africa was hosted, Fieldoo Challenge Nigeria will be another scouting challenge the Europeans will be conducting in Africa with Egypt as the next Target.

Fieldoo Challenge Nigeria Team is headed by renowned former national teams coaches, John Sam Obuh and Abimbola Samuel.

Coach Obuh and his team have put modalities in motion to ensure that FIELDOO CHALLENGE NIGERIA is the first and best of its kind in football scouting program in the country.

Football academies across the 36 states of the country including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, are expected to participate in this challenge.

Abimbola Samuel also doubles as Board Member FCT FA.
