FCT FA Election: Ibrahim Koko Declared Kuje Area Football Council Chairman

Ibrahim Koko on Wednesday was declared Chairman, Kuje Area Football Council after pulling all the five votes in the 2020 FCT Area Football Council Elective Congress conducted in Kuje.

Wasting no time after being sworn-in, the chairman immediately re-appointed the council’s Sports Officer, Elisha Magaji as the Secretary, Kuje Area Football Council.

He said his second term into the office is to consolidate on his previous achievements by bringing sponsors whose funds will help the board in organising different football tournaments where budding young talents can be discovered for greater heights.

“I have learnt a lot during the last term and all i need is to use the experience to consolidate on some of our achievements. We plead that all stakeholders should come on board with brilliant ideas with which we move the game of football in the Area Council to where it ought to be.”

“To achieve that, we need to strive and get sponsors then we can use the funds for grassroots development and building of sports facilities. We need to organise different football competitions where talents will be discovered and get on the platform to excel.

He thanked the FCT FA Chairman, Adams Muktar Mohammed for organising an electoral process that follows procedures.

“On behalf of my humble self and the entire board, we say thank you to FCT FA Chairman, Adams Mouktar Mohammed for organizing a smooth electoral process for the first time in our Area Council.

In the second election, Osim Livinus Atu emerged the Vice-chairman while Ahmed Abdullahi was voted Member of the Kuje Football Area Council in the third election.
