FCAAN Set to Launch Digital ID Cards for Members

Football Coaches Association of African Nations ( FCAAN) is set to launch Digital ID cards for its Members reveals President and Founder Dr. Terry Eguaoje.

FCAAN signed an MOU with Irish based Software Development Studio Plovtech Solution In March before the COVID 19 Pandemic halted all sporting Activities worldwide.

“We signed the MOU already and the first batch of the ID Cards are now under Production to be released soon” Dr. Eguaoje Said.

According to Plovtech Solutions Global Corporate Director, Dr. Ken Gabriel, the FCAAN ID card will be valid for both the physical and digital domains.

“It is quite visionary for FCAAN to embrace mobile identity or IDverify, for its members, meaning the creation of a mechanism – initiated using the Digital component – for accessing online services with a high level of security thanks to mobile devices” Dr Gabriel Enthused.

“What’s more, the electronic format of the FCAAN ID cards means that, in addition to identification for FCAAN membership, Its electronic signature applications are also ideally suited to other use such as granting the user access to FCAAN Courses and Programs” Dr. Gabriel Explains.

“The technology used for the FCAAN ID Card is robust and fit for purpose” added Dr. Eguaoje. “with our over 45,000 Member world wide, The very same technology can be used to address the growing threat of identity fraud. The microprocessor-based QR Code enables iD Card will help to protect identity credentials and is considered the most secure means of validation and authentication. It makes it possible to prevent identity fraud and effectively protect FCAAN Members’ data. ”
