NNL: FC One Rockets Pick Third Away Point At Ogbomosho

FC ONE Rockets of Abat, Onna, Akwa Ibom State picked their third (3rd) 2020/2021 Nigeria National League (NNL) away point at Ogbomosho, Oyo State, with a barren draw.
The Week 10 NNL B2 Southern Conference fixture, squared The Indomitable Ambassadors against Crown FC, on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the football pitch of the Lautech Sports Complex.
Traveling immediately (on Friday, March 26) after overcoming a stubborn Church-owned Joy Cometh FC of Lagos, 1-0 at home, on Thursday, the Onna lads, endured a turbulent 13hours road journey from South-South to the South West, arriving Ogbomosho on the day of the match, due to hitches.
Like true “scouters”, the NNL debutants, inspired immensely by their Proprioter, Rt. Hon. Nse Essien and ingeniously tinkered by the Technical Crew, made of Coach Emmanuel King (Technical Adviser, Coach Ndubuisi Ndah (Head Coach) Coach William Udousoro and Coach Harry Blankson (Goalkeeper Trainer) dared the challenges of breaking their journey via a stop-over at Osun State, changing buses, arriving match town close to kick-off time and playing on a poor turf, to earn an away point, their third (3rd) away draw; 1-1 with Ibom Youths FC, 1-1 with Holy Arrows FC and 0-0 with Crown FC.
FC ONE Rockets have garnered 13 points from nine (9) matches (the team drew bye on Match Day 2), and have scored ten (10) goals, conceded nine (9) and have scored in all their NNL matches, except against Crown FC.
Abel Abbah, a mercurial and unpredictable left-footed attacker is the team’s highest goal scorer with five (5) goals, followed by another left-footed dribbling delight, Pippah Tuoyo who has scored thrice, so far.
In a related development, Carabana Football Academy (the underage arm of the Indomitable Football Empire) defeated Young Stars FC of Uyo, 4-1 at the Methodist Primary School, Itiam Etoi, along Oron road, Uyo to book a place in the finals of Ukai Unity Cup, 2021,slated for Easter Sunday, April 04.
The excited NNL debutants who are on their way home, will welcome J. Atete FC to the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, on (Good) Friday, April 2, 2021 in one of the Week 11 NNL fixtures.
