*As Both Team Coaches Talks Tough Ahead Of The Semi-Finals
Fc Bethel and Dannaz Fc are both through to the final of the Legend Cup.
Fc Bethel defeated Starbase Fc 1-0, with Tunji Ademuyiwa scoring the only goal of the game while Dannaz Fc defeated G12Fc on penalties after full time ended 0-0.
With that results, both teams (Dannaz Fc and Bethel Fc) are through to the Semi-Finals of the Legend Cup.
Coach of the Dannaz Fc, popularly known as Coach Danny, in an interview with Sports247 after the victory against the G12Fc, admitted that it wasn’t an easy game at all, commending the attitude of his players, and also luck being on his side.
He also said that his team are aiming to win the tournament.
“It wasn’t easy at all but we are grateful that we are into the Semifinals already of this tournament. I must give everything to the players, they gave their best into this game. It wasn’t an easy one at all, it went into penalties, but with luck on our side, we were able to scale through”.
“Our focus is on winning this tournament, that is our main focus and also for our players to give out their best for people to see the talent that they have in themselves. I am so impressed”, he concluded.
Coach of Fc Bethel also spoke with Sports247 after his team’s 1-0 win over Starbase Fc by praising his players, saying that they played to his instructions, which resulted in victory. He also said that even though his team are looking forward to winning the tournament, they will take each match one at a time, starting from the Semifinal.
“It is just my players. There are sometimes you tell players what to do, but when they are on the field, they add to what you told them to do. So I must give it to my players full-time. They are the reasons why we are celebrating today because that single goal is the reason why we are in the final”.
“I must keep showering encomium on them and keep praising them, but we know it’s one game at a time. We are now in the Semis and I know we are eying the cup already but that is not the main focus now, our focus now is on the Semifinal”, he concluded.
The Legend Cup Quarterfinals continue tomorrow as SGH Fc faces Charlessan Fc, while Box2Box battles Emmydinho Fc for a place in the Semi-Final of the tournament.
All matches will be played at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.
