Onitigbo United Football Club prodigy, Farouk Adeleke scored in a narrow win over Mama of Africa FC in the team opening match of Group C in the ongoing Ibro Peckham Annual football competition.
The encounter billed for the Nawarudeen playing ground in Ifo welcomed both sides on a Sunday evening. Farouk Adeleke strike separated the sides, whipping the ball past from close range after a counter-attack in the 18th minute.

Mama of Africa football Club had a positive start in the first half, with Ojo Paul and Komolafe Samuel coming close to scoring. However, the home team failed to break the deadlock before halftime.
For Onitigbo, the center back- Rasheed Salako earns a man of Match performance with a goal line save after Ojo Paul slot a lob past the goalkeeper with a push from the center half.

Speaking about Group C tagged as “group of death” with the last edition runners up Olomu FC and Evolution FC, Onitigbo FC earned a positive start with maximum points to top the group.
