Falode Unveils FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy – Abuja

Nigeria Football Federation Executive Committee member, Aisha Falode, was on duty in Abuja, where she helped unveiled the FIFA Women’s World Cup trophy for the 2023 edition, at the NICON Hilton Hotel, Abuja, in the presence of the NFF president, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, board member Margareth Incheen and the Super Falcons players already preparing for the 2023 World Cup.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will be playing in Group B alongside; Canada, Ireland, and Australia. The Falcons will play their World Cup opener in Group B on July 21 against Canada in Melbourne, the Second game on July 27 against host Australia in Brisbane, and the last group game on July 31st against Ireland in Brisbane.

The 2023 Women’s Worlds of Soccer will play out at ten host stadiums in nine cities across Australia and New Zealand. The tournament will kick off at Eden Park in Auckland and conclude with the Championship Final at Stadium Australia in Sydney.
