F.A CUP: WARRIORS, GIANTS SHIFT BATTLE TO NEUTRAL GROUND

South West neighbours Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan and Osun United of Osogbo, will set the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti on fire this afternoon, sports247.ng learns

The two sides will slug it out for a place in the round of 32 of the 2019 Aiteo Cup, as they clash in one of the rounds of 34 games, going down across the federation this weekend

This is the third consecutive meeting between the two teams in as many weekends, having met in the Nigerian National League (NNL) in the last two weekends, says Tosin Omojola

What makes this pairing interesting, is the fact that they are having this third encounter on neutral ground, after they both hosted each other on their home grounds in the previous meetings.

3SC won both matches, 1-0 in Osogbo and 2-0 in Ibadan, to confirm their superiority over United.

Going into today’s encounter, the Omoluabi Giants, having fallen twice to the Ibadan soccer lords, would aim at denying their opponents another win over them.

However, soccer followers, wait to see how the coach Samson Unuanel tutored lads would be able to curtail the Stars, who are red hot at the moment, going by their performance in the league.

The coach Edith Agoye tutored lads, with the confidence they are exuding ahead of this afternoon’s match, are ready to destroy the giants again, to confirm that the two previous triumphs were no flukes.

With setting, soccer fans in Ado-Ekiti and environs are, therefore, assured of an interesting game as the high flying Ouyole Warriors battle the struggling Omoluabi Giants for a place in the next phase of the Aiteo Cup.
