Ezeugo Wins Double Medals for Nigeria at African Armwrestling Championship

Nigerian para-athlete Ugochukwu Ezeugo delivered an inspiring performance at the African Armwrestling Championship 2026, securing both silver and bronze medals in the Para Women Standing +65kg category.

Competing in both left and right arm events, Ezeugo showcased resilience and determination to finish on the podium, further strengthening Nigeria’s medal haul at the continental competition. Her achievement marks a significant milestone in her career and highlights her steady rise within para armwrestling.

Hailing from Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Ezeugo expressed gratitude for the support system that has contributed to her success.
