Ex Stationary Stores Player Leaves FC Gossau, Pens Deal With FC Witikon In Switzerland League

Former Stationary Stores player, Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony has been appointed the Head Coach of 3 Liga in Switzerland League , FC Witikon after calling it quit with FC Gossau on mutual consent.

Coach Adedeji disclosed this on Thursday evening in an exclusively chat with *Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR* ) from his base in Switzerland shortly after penning a deal with Switzerland based outfit. The UEFA B trainer could not hide his joy after he left his former club on mutual consent saying it was an upward direction in his coaching career.

“When many African coaches are struggling to seal a deal in European leagues, it’s a different story for me and I give God all the glory. Said the former Brila FM and Channels pundit.

The young and energetic Nigerian coach whose story has been positively different in Europe is one of the few Nigerian Coaches who exhibits great deal of fortunes playing in Europe and now coaching away from the continent. He is now the Head Coach of Switzerland 3Liga League Club, FC Witikon.

The former Under 17 and Under 20 invitee noted that he was very excited to be appointed the Head Coach of such a big club, stressing that it was an improve on the previous to be appointed the Head Coach of such an ambitious side

According to the 1998 Nigerian FA cup winner, he said: ” I’m extremely excited to be appointed the Head Coach of the top rated 3Liga Side in Switzerland League. This is category of the club where former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh resigned and it’s pretty difficult for an African descent to get such huge opportunity. A lot of applicants jostled for the job but at the of it all, I was privileged to seal the deal.I give God all the glory. Former FC Dubendorf and FC Kloten Frauen trainer enthused.

The 39 year old tactician was born in Lagos and won Under 17 Coca Cola League in 2015 and was awarded best foreign attacking midfielder in New Delhi in 1999. A pride of nation as a player and a pointer to an upward success for Nigeria in coaching world.
