Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) chairman Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye has vowed to bring live domestic football to every corner of the country, following the league’s landmark ₦2 billion data and commercialization deal with Inview Technologies Nigeria Limited and AS Production Hub Limited.
The five-year partnership — which includes an ₦800 million upfront activation fee — marks a major commercial breakthrough for the NPFL, positioning it for wider visibility, fan engagement and financial sustainability.

Speaking at the official signing ceremony in Abuja, Elegbeleye described the deal as a “transformative leap” that will finally make Nigerian league football accessible to everyone.
> “We want every Nigerian home — in villages, towns and big cities — to easily watch the NPFL,” Elegbeleye said. “Our focus now is on consistent, quality content that connects fans with their clubs and showcases our talent to the world.”
He stressed that the agreement does not create exclusivity but rather opens the door for multiple broadcast and data partners.
> “This is just the beginning. The NPFL is being unbundled — the more partners we bring in, the more opportunities we create for clubs, players and fans,” he explained.
In a second landmark deal, the NPFL also secured a ₦600 million data partnership with Round Up Technology, covering player analytics, match statistics and performance insights — the first structured data monetisation model in Nigerian football history.
The agreements were witnessed by top officials including NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau, NBC DG Charles Ebuebu, and NOA DG Lanre Issa-Onilu, who all hailed the NPFL’s bold vision.
For Elegbeleye, this moment marks more than just a deal — it’s the beginning of a new, digital-driven era for Nigerian football.
