Kano Pillars defender Fabian Nworie has revealed how the influence of Super Eagles legend Ahmed Musa is helping to inspire the team as they continue their EuroMatch NPFL campaign.
Following Pillars’ thrilling 3-2 victory over Niger Tornadoes, Nworie praised Musa’s influence inside the squad, describing the experienced forward as a major role model whose motivation is making a difference.
“Ahmed Musa is really motivating us and it’s really helping us out. He’s a big role model.”
Nworie’s comments come after he personally produced one of the standout performances of Matchday Two, scoring twice from his centre-back position to help Kano Pillars secure their first victory of the season.
His brace, combined with Musa’s leadership and influence, provided another example of the personalities making the early weeks of the EuroMatch NPFL increasingly compelling.
