The announcement was made via the club’s official website on Wednesday, marking the end of their association with the Aba giants.

One notable departure is Super Eagles goalkeeper, John Noble, whose contract with the club has come to an end.

The 30-year-old shot-stopper has decided to explore new opportunities and has signed with Tanzanian club, Tabora United, in search of a fresh challenge.

Aside from John Noble, eight other players bid farewell to Enyimba as their contracts also reached their conclusion.

Emeka Obioma, Phillip Ozor, Chigozie Obasi, Adekunle Adeleke, Fatai Abdullahi, Samuel Kalu, and Sadiq Abubakar are among those departing the club.

These players have contributed significantly during their time with Enyimba, and their contributions will be remembered by the fans.

Furthermore, three players were released by mutual consent as part of the club’s squad reevaluation.

Moses Omodemuke, Ademola Adebambo, and Othuke Egbo have reached an agreement with the club to part ways, allowing them to pursue new opportunities elsewhere.

The departures signal a period of transition for Enyimba, as they look to build a competitive squad capable of defending their Nigeria Professional Football League title and making a mark in continental competitions.

The club’s management and coaching staff will now focus on recruitment and player acquisitions to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.

Enyimba fans bid farewell to these players with gratitude for their contributions and wish them the best in their future endeavors.

As the transfer window progresses, all eyes will be on the club’s recruitment activities as they aim to maintain their status as one of Nigeria’s football powerhouses.
