Coach Al-Hadi Sodiq Abiodun, the Head Coach of Ajax Sporting Club of Abeokuta has assured the club fans to be calm on the young talents his team mostly paraded as he believes the team will pull a huge surprise at the Eight Edition of Ibro-Peckham Cup 2025.
The stage is set, and the road to glory has officially begun with 32 teams set for the 8th Edition of Ibro-Peckham Marlians football competition in Ifo, IFO local government with the kickoff set for November 1st, 2025.

The group stage will kick off with Ajax Sporting Club to be in search of maximum points against Sugar Football Club and Ultimate Bombers to battle it out with Bocca FC in Group A at the Champions Arena, Nawarudeen Primary School playing ground, Olose Ifo Ogun State.
The eight season of the largest grassroots football competition in the local government and it’s environs
Speaking to Sports247 reporter, the Coach fondly known for his on and off the field engagement said;
“my team has always been proactive and prepared for the tournament since we know we are coming for the 8th edition”.
“I believe in young talented players…my team is coming out with young players this year….nothing changes in my squad”
Ajax SC Coach, also believe his team experience in the tournament and the environment will help a lot as he looks forward to progress more than their previous outing.
“determination and focus is the key to success and hard work, discipline lead to achieve the goals….we are coming out strong for this year edition”. He added.
