Olawore’s move marks a significant step in his young career after a steady rise through Nigeria’s youth football system.
A product of Heyfash Football Academy, the winger earned a reputation for his calm, disciplined style of play, combining patience with intelligent movement on the flanks.
While not flashy, his consistency and decision-making made him a trusted performer across several competitions.
He further underlined his attacking quality during the 1X Cup, where he scored a series of impressive goals for Nath Boys, catching the attention of scouts and local football observers.
His growing reputation was cemented on the national stage at the Gateway Games 2024, where Olawore found the net for Team Ogun in the men’s football final against Team Kwara at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta.
That match also featured a memorable goal from Akinyele Ahmed of Remo Stars, with both strikes standing out as highlights of the tournament.
The switch to Umeå FC offers Olawore a valuable opportunity to test himself in Europe, adapt to a new football culture, and continue his development in a competitive Scandinavian league.
With his work ethic and grounding in grassroots football, the winger will be eager to make a strong impression and establish himself as a key contributor during his time in Sweden.
