Arsenal’s Nigerian-born youngster, Emerson Nwaneri is enjoying the spotlight at Emirates Stadium, as he is now the London-based club’s fifth youngest player to score for their under-18 squad.
Sports247 reports that Olympique Marseille of France loan signing, Ethan Nwaneri’s younger brother shot into The Gunners’ record books when he scored Arsenal’s only goal in a 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur.

Emerson’s historic though ineffective milestone effort came during the U18 Premier League on Tuesday afternoon and it was his first career goal at that level, though he is just 15 years old.
A report by Tribal Football further revealed, “At 15 years, five months and 30 days old, Emerson is now the fifth youngest goal scorer in Arsenal U18s history.
“Emerson Nwaneri has now made three appearances for Arsenal U18s this season. (His older) brother, Ethan holds the record after he netted when he was just 14 years, one month and 13 days old.”
