The 4th edition of the LaLiga Puma Ball Street Kings tournament lit up the Showtime Arena in Lekki on November 15 as Legacy Sports, LaLiga, Puma, and StarTimes delivered one of the most electrifying grassroots football spectacles Lagos has seen this year.

In a packed arena filled with music, colour, and raw street football energy, top community teams clashed in high-intensity battles marked by fierce tackles, stunning goals, emotional outbursts, and tense penalty shootouts.

Across 12 group-stage matches, fans witnessed everything from last-minute winners to bold defending and heated rivalries. Royal Garden’s David finished as the tournament’s highest scorer with four goals, while several teams impressed with their tactical discipline.

The semi-finals produced thrilling moments: Elite FC edged Sun Star FC 4–2 on penalties after a goalless draw, while Madrid FC overpowered Royal Garden AS 3–1 in a dominant display to reach the final.

Sun Star FC later clinched third place with a convincing 3–1 victory over Royal Garden AS.

The grand finale lived up to the hype as Real Madrid Fan Club and Elite FC battled to a tense 0–0 draw before Elite FC triumphed 4–3 on penalties, lifting the coveted championship title in dramatic fashion.

Audu, the shot-stopping hero of Elite FC, was deservedly named Player of the Tournament, while Sun Star FC’s goalkeeper won Goalkeeper of the Tournament for his outstanding saves throughout the event.

Organisers described this year’s edition as “the most competitive yet,” applauding the skill level of participating teams and the passion of Lagos football fans who turned the event into a festival atmosphere.
