El-Kanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri have bolstered their squad with the signing of five new players as part of their preparations for the upcoming football season.
The news additions include two players from newly promoted NPFL side, Kun Khalifa FC, Forward Victor Ikechukwu and a midfielder Ebuka Okoro.

Others are Emmanuel Nwabufo a Goalkeeper, from Heartland FC, Sadiq Mohammad a Defender, from Nasarawa United and
Usman Audu Midfielder, from DMD FC.
The unveiling ceremony took place at the Colonel Abdulmumin Aminu Camp in Maiduguri, in the presence of the Club Chairman, Malam Ibrahim Maina Mustapha, and other board members.
The additions highlight the club’s intent to build a competitive team capable of challenging for top honors in the new campaign, a club statement read.
“We are pleased to welcome these young and talented players into our squad,” said Chairman Malam Ibrahim Maina Mustapha.
“Their individual qualities will be vital as we pursue our objectives for the season. We wish them an injury-free and successful time with El-Kanemi Warriors FC.” He added.
With preseason activities already underway, El-Kanemi Warriors are optimistic about a promising and productive season ahead.
