Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi Receives National Light Heavyweight Champion, Adewale Masebinu in bid Of World Title Support

National light heavyweight boxing champion, Adewale Masebinu, appeal to the Ekiti State Government for support has finally come to fulfillment following his recent meeting with the executive Government of Ekiti State Dr. Kayode Fayemi yesterday, Monday 1, 2021.

The state government received the Ekiti-born current National Light-Heavyweight boxing champion, Adewale Masebinu alongside his manager, Ojo Bamidele in a bid for a world title discussion with the state government.

Commissioner for youth and sports development, Pst. Michael Awopetu, SA. Youth and sports development and GM, sports, Ekiti State was also present for the official presentation.

Otunola Bernard of UnBoxx Sports/CornerWise Entertainment and Saleh Fawaz of Saleh Gloves Promotions are part of the organizing committee while NBBofC would be sanctioning the fight officially.

Masebinu who is a graduate of History and International Studies from Ekiti State University with, bouts 8, rounds 26, KOs 62.5% said that his ambition was to become the World Boxing Council (WBC) Heavyweight Champion in no distant time.
