Ekiti FA boss condoles Remo stars owner on player’s death

Ekiti state football association chairman, Bayo Olanlege has sent a condolence message to Hon. Kunle Soname, the proprietor of Remo Stars football club over the death of Tiyamiu Kazeem, a defender with the Ikenne, Ogun state based club.

In the message, Olanlege described the death of the player as painful and unfortunate. While consoling with the club owner and the entire management of the team, he lamented the incident and described it as another rude way to destroy the future of the country.

” On behalf of the Ekiti State FA and the entire Ekiti football community, I say we are greatly pained by the untimely death of one of Remo Stars FC players killed by the notorious SARS,” he stated.

” Knowing your passion and zeal to build a better soceity through your several life impacting projects, particularly, through football, I can understand how devastated you would be. We can’t just be building the future of the nation while they keep killing them. It is unacceptable,” he remarked.

Olanlege went on to pray for the repose of the deceased soul. And that God should grant the family, friends and colleagues of the late player, the strength and fortitude to bear the unfortunate and huge loss.
